Georgios Samaras is keen to move to Parkhead
Georgios Samaras wants to win a permanent move to Parkhead, according to his agent.
The Greece international, who won a Scottish Premier League championship medal after a four-month loan spell at Celtic Park, hoping to leave Manchester City for a long term deal north of the border.
Celtic manager Gordon Strachan would like to take the £ 3million-rated, but the attacker to 23 years is hampered by uncertainty at City of Manchester Stadium where manager Sven-Goran Eriksson, his own future is at stake.
Samaras agent, Lee Anderson, told the Scottish Sun: "Gordon wants to keep and Georgios wants to stay.
"The player is clear on what he wants, but the problem is the confusion the City.
"The first thing I will do is to know the City Chief Executive Alistair Mackintosh what happens."
